PKR 4.3M+ in Sales for a Local Ecommerce Brand — Built From Scratch
- Industry:
- Ecommerce (D2C, White Label)
- Role:
- Digital Marketing Strategist (Founding Growth Partner)
Engagement: Brand Strategy, Product Sourcing, Shopify Store Build, Content & UGC, Meta Ads, Influencer Marketing
This is one of several brand marketing case studies from my portfolio, and it's the one I'm proudest of — because I didn't just run ads for this brand. I built it, from an idea to a real, revenue-generating business.
The Challenge
The brand didn't exist yet. There was no name, no product, no store, and no audience — just an intent to launch a local ecommerce business in a competitive, crowded market.
The brief I set for myself was simple to say and hard to execute:
- Find a product with real demand and healthy margins
- Build a brand identity people would trust enough to buy from on the first visit
- Launch a Shopify store that could actually convert cold traffic
- Build a paid acquisition engine that didn't burn cash finding out what works
- Layer in content, UGC, and influencer marketing to build trust at scale
There was no existing brand equity to lean on. Everything had to be built and proven from zero.
My Approach
Brand Positioning
Before touching ads or product listings, I defined who this brand was for, what it stood for, and why it deserved a spot in a customer's cart over a dozen competitors. This positioning shaped everything downstream — the product selection, the store design, the ad creative, and the tone of every piece of content.
Product Hunting
I led the initial product research and validation — analyzing demand signals, competitor pricing, supplier margins, and shipping logistics — to land on a white label product line with genuine repeat-purchase potential, not just a trending item with a short shelf life.
High-Converting Shopify Store
I built the store to sell, not just to look good — clear value proposition above the fold, trust signals, streamlined product pages, and a checkout flow designed to reduce drop-off. Every page was built with conversion rate in mind from day one.
Content & UGC Production
I handled in-house content creation and directed UGC-style ad content built specifically for Meta's feed — native-feeling creative that didn't look like a traditional ad, which became a core driver of the account's performance.
Meta Ads — Rebuilt From Scratch
A structured campaign architecture designed for clean data and easy scaling, a continuous creative testing system to find winning angles and hooks fast, and a disciplined scaling process — pushing budget aggressively into winners while cutting underperformers early.
Influencer Marketing
I ran influencer partnerships alongside paid ads to build social proof and drive additional touchpoints, reinforcing the brand's credibility beyond the ads themselves.
The Results
| Metric | Result |
|---|---|
| Ad Spend | PKR 960K |
| Revenue | PKR 4.3M+ |
| ROAS | 4.5× |
| Purchases | 3,220 |
Every one of these numbers came from a brand that didn't exist when I started. No inherited audience, no legacy sales data, no existing trust — just positioning, product, store, content, and ads built and optimized from the ground up.
Key Takeaway
Local ecommerce brands don't need a bigger budget to scale — they need the fundamentals built right, in order: the right product, a brand people trust, a store that converts, and an ads account structured to learn fast and scale winners without wasting spend. That combination is what turned PKR 960K into PKR 4.3M+ in sales at a 4.5× ROAS.
